ABOUT THE PROJECT EVA-LISA'S MONUMENT
he walk is part of artist Sam Hultin’s project Eva-Lisa’s Monument, which highlights Eva-Lisa Bengtson’s pioneering work in the trans movement, as well as in the lesbian and feminist movements in Stockholm. When Eva-Lisa passed away in 2018, Hultin received her unique archive of photos, letters, books, meeting minutes, newsletters and magazines – which became the foundation for the project. Today, the material is archived at QRAB – the Queer Movement’s Archive and Library in Gothenburg.
