🌴⛈️ Get Ready for Hurricane Season at the City of Indian Rocks Beach Inaugural Hurricane Preparedness Expo! ⛈️🌴
We are incredibly fortunate to have so many amazing community partners joining us for our Inaugural Hurricane Preparedness Expo!
🍴 The Salvation Army will be serving up FREE hot dogs and chips from their Canteen Truck for attendees.
🎉 Lowe’s has generously donated a generator that will be raffled off.
🎁 Former Mayor Cookie Kennedy and The Cookie Cutter have donated an Odorox Slimline MAX Hydroxyl Generator, which will also be raffled off.
🧰 Home Depot will be onsite with valuable hurricane preparedness information and Hurricane Supply Kits donated by The Home Depot Foundation.
🩸 OneBlood will be hosting a blood drive, giving neighbors an opportunity to help save lives while attending the event.
🏛️ Multiple departments from Pinellas County Government will be onsite to provide valuable information, resources, and services to help residents prepare before, during, and after a storm.
🐬 Clearwater Marine Aquarium will be joining us to share educational information about our precious marine life and the importance of protecting our coastal environment.
🚒 Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue District and 🚓 Pinellas County Sheriff's Office will be bringing apparatus, educational materials, and safety resources for the whole family to explore.
📺 OH...and yes... Meteorologist Greg Dee will be joining us with all the latest hurricane DEE-TAILS!
The list could go on and on...
With so many outstanding organizations, businesses, and volunteers coming together, this promises to be a fun, informative, and family-friendly event focused on keeping our community prepared and resilient.
The City of Indian Rocks Beach will have Team Members available to share valuable information with our IRB neighbors.
There will also be sand for our neighbors who want to have sandbags readily available.
