Join the City of Chicago's Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) for the 5th Annual Whole Community Training Summit on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at DePaul University's Lincoln Park Student Center.
The Whole Community Training Summit (WCTS) advances OEMC's commitment to strengthening community preparedness through education, training, and collaboration. Bringing together emergency managers, first responders, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, private sector partners, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and community leaders, the Summit promotes whole community engagement and strengthens partnerships that support more resilient communities.
As the emergency management landscape continues to evolve, the Summit will explore innovative approaches to preparedness, capability development, resource coordination, and operational readiness. Through expert-led training, information sharing, and collaboration, attendees will gain practical knowledge and exchange best practices to help strengthen local and regional emergency management capabilities.
Registration includes:
- Educational and training sessions led by subject matter experts
- Networking opportunities with whole community partners
- Complimentary breakfast, lunch, and refreshments
- Free garage parking will be available at the Clifton & Sheffield garage, approximately a 5-minute walk from the venue. Limited spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis
