City Nature Challenge is fast-approaching, and we will be hosting Liz from Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (the Monroe County lead for this event) at a table in our Visitor Center on the 26th from 11 AM to 2 PM. She can teach you how you can get involved in the City Nature Challenge and participate in community science!
City Nature Challenge is a worldwide bioblitz conducted through iNaturalist, a free community science platform that allows all of us - whether novices or experts - to contribute to biodiversity research and conservation. It's a great way to get people of all ages excited about the amazing biodiversity that surrounds us here in South Florida.
