City Nature Challenge Bioblitz - Plant Communities

Get ready for an interesting exploration of conservation in action and join ERM and Stephanie Dunn, president of the Broward Chapter of Florida Native Plant Society, to check out the variety of plant communities in North Jupiter Flatwoods. Dunn will lead a guided hike looking at how well-managed ecosystems create diverse plant communities when key components that support wildlife and native habitats are in place.

Bring your phones and install the free app as we participate in the City Nature Challenge Bioblitz, to document all the plants, pollinators and wildlife we see on this walk.

This will be an approximately 2-mile hike along uneven natural-surface hiking trails.

North Jupiter Flatwoods Natural Area is located on the north end of Jupiter Community Park. Restroom facilities are available within the Park.

No pets and children must be accompanied by an adult.
