Join us for another year of the City Nature Challenge, an international effort to find and document plants and wildlife in cities across the globe! Participating is as easy as going outside, taking a picture of a plant or animal in your backyard, local park or wildlife area, and submitting it using the free iNaturalist app to our project (https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/city-nature-challenge-2026-guilford-county-nc). All observations made in Guilford County will be counted during this four-day challenge.Bonus! Observations may also be used for ecoEXPLORE, a citizen science nature exploration aimed at kids grades K-8 (www.ecoexplore.net).
