City Express: Castlefield & New Islington

GET YOUR 5 A DAY!

City Express returns to Manchester city centre in February. This 5km urban netwalking event is brought to you in partnership with Pro.Manchester giving you the opportunity to walk and talk with other professionals on your lunch break.

Castlefield - Rochdale Canal - New Islington - Ashton Canal - Kampus

We'll meet outside The Y Club on Liverpool Road in Castlefield, passing through the heart of Castlefield to venture through the heart of the city along the Rochdale Canal. We'll leave the canal in Ancoats to cut through New Islington and then join the Ashton Canal to head back into town past Paradise Wharf. The walk should take approx one hour at a decent pace and we'll start at precisely 12.30pm. At the end of the walk, we invite you to join your newly made contacts for some optional lunch at Nell's Pizza, Kampus which is where the walk will end. (Lunch ticket will include a range of pizzas and sides to share - special dietaries will be requested before the event)
