City Council District 2 FEF Debate

As I am sure you are aware, there is a critical citywide election in April 2023 and the stakes are high for our community. I want to stress the importance of your participation in this election. The Southwest Community will be directly impacted by the results of this election. As a school, we are hoping for high civic participation among our Denver residents!

There is a heavily contested Mayoral Election, City Council races in every District, and two at-large City Council races. I encourage you to learn about the various candidates’ stances and which one best represents the interests of you and your family.

In addition to voting, we hope that you will take advantage of the opportunity to hear from candidates directly. We will be hosting a City Council District 2 Candidate Debate here at DSST: College View High School on Wednesday, February 8th at 5:30pm. City Council District 2 covers DSST: College View and the surrounding neighborhoods. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from candidates and make an informed decision about who to vote for. RSVP early as space is limited. Refreshments, childcare, and language interpretation will be provided for those that register.
