Come join us for an evening of song and socializing at the Heliconian Club for a world first performance of the music from City by the Lake, a musical about Toronto in the late 1970’s featuring Canadian East Coast and world music. Performed by Toronto’s acclaimed vocal ensemble, Fonitika - Kathryn Rose Johnston, Lydia Palmer, David Walsh and Joshua McFaul. City by the Lake (Susan Bellan, music and Ron East, book) tells the story of migrants from across Canada and around the world and old Torontonians trying to build new lives while hiding secrets from their past.
