A sister and brother sing stories that end and others that begin, accompanied by homemade machinery and a few taut strings. A deep dive into a sonic universe of organic rhythms and finely chiselled melodies, with poetic lyrics that are sometimes dreamy and sometimes edgy. Transcendent pop that flies away in an infinite echo.
Following the success of their debut album Chagrin Bleu, Citron Citron are back! The duo have been hard at work for the last two years on their new album Maréeternelle, released in autumn 2024 on Bongo Joe Records. While retaining their majestic compositions, their two-part vocals and their organic, hand-crafted sound machinery, Citron Citron are deepening their sound universe by singing about everyday life, death and love with the same unique, poetic approach.
