PRIMERAS 10 PERSONAS:
Una consulta legal con un consejero acreditado por inmigración
Recibirá el cuestionario de las preguntas que le ayudara a prepararse para el examen de ciudadanía
Habrá un costo $50 para procesar la aplicación y envió postal
Usted puede obtener la ciudadanía si:
Ha sido residente permanente por lo menos 4 años y 9 meses y puede hablar, leer y escribir inglés básico. o
Ha sido residente permanente por 3 años y está casado con un/a ciudadano/a de los EE.UU por 3 años.
Ingles no es necesario si:
Ha sido residente permanente por lo menos 20 años y tiene 50 años de edad o más. O
Ha sido residente permanente por lo menos 15 años y tiene 55 años de edad o más. O
Si es mayor de 65 años y tiene 20 años con la residencia permanente solo tiene que estudiar 25 preguntas. Usted tomaría el examen en su idioma
Traer al taller los siguientes documentos e información:
Tarjeta de Residencia, Seguro Social y licencia de manejo o identificación estatal.
Fechas de todos los viajes fuera de los EE.UU. Por los últimos 5 años
Lista de sus domicilios y empleos con fechas por los últimos 5 años.
Nombre de su cónyuge, fecha de nacimiento, numero de Seguro Social y numero de tarjeta verde o fecha de naturalización.
Fecha de matrimonio y divorcio de los matrimonios anteriores suyos y de su cónyuge.
Nombres, fechas de nacimiento, y números de tarjeta verde de sus hijos (si aplica), y sus domicilios si no viven con usted.
Si ha sido arrestado/a, traer una disposición certificada de la corte, “certified court disposition”
HOMBRES: su numero de Servicio Selectivo y fecha de inscripción, si no lo sabe llamar al (847) 688-6888 o visitar www.sss.gov.
Giro postal (Money Order) de $725.00 a nombre de USCIS. Si usted es mayor de 75 años su giro postal será de $640.00
Habrá un costo de $50 por proceso y envío postal.

You can obtain your citizenship if:
You have been a lawful permanent resident for 4 years and 9 months, and you can read, speak, and write basic English. OR
You have been a lawful permanent resident for 3 years and married to a U.S citizen for 3 years.
English is not necessary if:
You have been a lawful permanent resident for 20 years and your age is 50 years or more. OR
You have been a lawful permanent resident for 15 years and your age is 55 years or more. OR
You have 20 years with the permanent resident and you are older than 65 years, you only have to study 25 questions. You will take the test in your native language
You must bring the following documents to apply:
Resident Card, Social Security Card and your Driver’s license or State ID.
Dates of all travels outside the U.S. for the past 5 years
A list of all your addresses for the past 5 years and of all your employers, dates and locations for the past 5 years.
Your spouse’s name, date of birth, social security number and resident card number (if is applicable) OR date of naturalization (if is applicable).
The date of marriage and divorce from previous marriages of you and your spouse (if is applicable). Bring a copy of your marriage certificate.
The names, date of birth, and resident card number of your children and their addresses if they are not living with you (if applicable)
If you had any ARRESTS, bring a certified court disposition.
MALES: You will need to bring your Selective Service number and registration date (if you don’t know this information, call (847) 688-6888 or visit www.sss.gov.)
Money order of $725 payable to: U.S.C.I.S. If you are 75 or older the money order is $640.
Centro will charge a fee of $50 for processing and postage.
