Citizens Fire Academy

Get an inside look at how Burleson Fire/EMS responds to emergencies. Citizens Fire Academy is a free seven-week program that combines classroom instruction, demonstrations and hands-on training to give participants a better understanding of the department's operations, equipment and emergency response.
The academy is open to adults 18 and older who live, work or own a business within the City of Burleson or its extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ).

All sessions begin at 6 p.m. at Fire Station 16, 250 E. Hidden Creek Parkway, unless otherwise noted.

𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟴: Fire Apparatus & Equipment
𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱: Dispatch & Fire Marshal's Office
𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟮: CPR, AED & EMS Skills
𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵: Fire Extinguisher Training & Vehicle Extrication Demonstration
𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟯: Firefighter Gear & Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
• Location: Burleson Fire/EMS Training Tower (formerly Fire Station 2), 620 Memorial Plaza
• Time: 6 p.m.
