Bien avant l’avènement des studios Marvel, le férocement indépendant Lloyd Kaufman aborde le thème du voyage interdimensionnel tout en déployant son propre univers partagé. Dans cette véritable suite à l’œuvre originale (les épisodes deux et trois ne comptent plus!), le brave Toxie est transporté à son insu dans un monde parallèle. Pire encore, son double maléfique Noxie a pris sa place et s’apprête à anéantir Tromaville.
