Citizen Soundscape - presented at Swan Lake Nature House

Come to the Swan Lake Nature House to experience the culmination of an Earth Endeavours Project in collaboration with BC Culture Days and Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary.

From 12:30-3pm on June 17, 2022, the Citizen Soundscape installation will be presented in the Nature House, giving attendees a curated listen to the fascinating sounds of the outdoors submitted by those residing in British Columbia and even further abroad!

A family-friendly event, attendees will have the opportunity to create works of art inspired by the Citizen Soundscape. Visual art supplies, utensils for writing, and space for musical & dance improvisations will be supplied.

Once you've immersed yourself in the Citizen Soundscape, you're encouraged to explore the Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary and to continue making art in response to its natural soundscape.
