We'll be holding two circus skills workshops on 19 and 21 August 2025 for children aged between 5 and 12 years old to have fun, whilst learning new skills, balance and coordination in a social environment. Please see separate event page for 21 August.We'll start off by playing some warm-ups games and then the children will have a go at juggling, spinning plates, diabolos and walking globe. Parents can stay in the session if they wish.
*The first workshop will be for children aged between 5 and 8 and will run from 3.30pm to 4.45pm.
*The second workshop will be for children aged between 9 and 12 and will run from 4.45 to 6pm
About the Tutor
Juan Herrera is a very experienced circus tutor and performer with more than 25 years experience working with children and young adults. He has studied and worked for one of the World's best circus schools, Circomedia in Bristol, UK. He also has a degree in Drama from Bristol University. He currently works as a LSA at Newhaven School(PRU), Eltham.
He is an Equity member, fully insured and DBS checked.
