Two men sit in silence on a frozen lake in Somewhere, Minnesota ice fishing... without hooks. One begins to sing George Michael's Faith setting off a debate of life, love and circus fantasies that will ultimately and forever change the trajectory of their lives. Circus Dreams follows an unwitting accountant’s journey from closet to limelight, tackling the hardships that still plague LGBTQ communities throughout Smalltown America.
