About this Event
What's it about:
At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. The Circle of Security Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.
Learning Objectives of the Program:
- Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read the emotional needs
- Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
- Enhance the development of your child's self esteem
- Honor your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure

Various funding sources provide coverage for people to participate in this group progam.
- NQPHN Mental Health Stepped Care ("Head-2-Health", formerly "Connect To Wellbeing") clients - fully funded (free for you to participate).
- NDIS Informal Carers of a Child Participant - proportionate fee according to how many people attend the group program. Max your plan can be charged is $85/session (totalling $340 total).
- Privately funded: $340 (talk to your health insurer regarding rebates you might be eligible for.
When you register, pick the ticket that applies to you - even though it says 'free' for each one of them. Our Practice Manager will be in touch to arrange the payment according to the rules of each funding source. You will not be asked to pay at time of registration.
At Enable OT we believe in charging people according to their circumstances and have an Honour You & Honour Me approach to what we charge. We ask people to pay the full fee if they can afford it because we have families to feed and need to pay for practice overheads. However, if the full fee is beyond your capacity to pay, and you are not eligible for funding under Mental Health Stepped Care, please contact us via the email below and, explaining your circumstances, request a reduced fee option.
