CIRCLE OF BALANCE - Rapé & Cacao Ceremony

We’re inviting you to a morning in the forest where we will explore the feminine and masculine energies through the healing power of plants.

Medicinal plants carry nature’s ancient wisdom and allow us to perceive a different kind of connection between our inner self and those powers of mother nature.

Rapé is known as the ancestral grandfather tobacco of the Amazon region in South America. The indigenous cultures call it the king of the medicines and it has been part of their traditional ceremonies for centuries. As opposed to the tobacco leaves that we know, Rapé is a powder made of ashes of tobacco and many other different plants. It’s not smoked but applied in its powder form into the nose of the people attending the ceremony. We experience a meditative state and a strong sensation of grounding.

Ceremonial Cacao is a sacred plant medicine that originated in Meso-America and has been used as part of the spiritual practices of the Mayan and Aztec cultures. It is known to bring us back into our bodies and create a deeper connection to ourselves by opening our hearts.

Both plants carry different qualities that we get to experience on a body, mind, and soul level. The way we experience and respond to them allows us to explore the dynamic of polarity in our system and how to create balance within us. Humans of any gender are welcome.

The cacao that will be served comes from Guatemala and supports indigenous families to keep their traditions alive.

We will meet in the forest by the lake Krumme Lanke to allow everyone to spend the rest of the day by the water. The exact location will be shared after sign-up.

Alex has been living in Latin America where he learned about ancestral cultures, traditional rituals, and medicinal plants. Learning about the power of these traditions has had a profound impact on his life and sense of purpose. He is interested in sharing nature-connected rituals and medicine in Europe and exploring ways to apply these rituals and their powers to mindful men’s and women’s work.

Jil has spent the past four years exploring the healing power of cacao while reconnecting with the wisdom of her body through intuitive movement & breathwork. She's facilitating spaces of transformation for women to dive into their intuitive abilities and connect with their cyclic nature.
