Join Carlota Hursey for Community Circle Dance Class!Circle Dance is a fun way to get to know different cultures and inspiring world music, a place to meet friends and make new ones, an opportunity to feel that you belong to something greater than yourself.
From traditional folk dances practiced for centuries around the world, to contemporary music styles; either in slow moves or energetic steps; we dance to connect to ourselves and each other, learning how to honor traditions and experiencing the joy of togetherness and belonging.
No dance skills or partner needed, we rehearse the steps before each dance in a relaxed and gentle environment. Circle Dance is for everyone! This is a donation based class. *Suggested donation $10*
Come alone or bring a friend, the Circle welcomes everyone! Doors open at 3pm.
Meet Carlota:
Carlota Hursey is a Certified Circle Dance Instructor who finds deep connection through her work. Carlota is committed to sharing the joy of her dance with everyone in the Circle, and strives to provide a judgement-free environment, encouraging each dancer to relax and learn at their own pace.
