Join us for the next “Cinema with the Shepherd” at 6:30 pm on September 18th in St. Joseph Hall at OLPH Cathedral! The next film in Bishop Bullock’s annual film festival for the Jubilee Year of Hope will be City Lights (1931): In a large and uncaring city, a tramp falls in love with a beautiful blind girl, whose family is in financial trouble. The tramp's on-and-off friendship with a wealthy man promises the opportunity for him to be the girl's benefactor and suitor. This film is silent with musical accompaniment (G). The film will be preceded by a brief explanation from Bishop about the film and will conclude with discussion and Q&A.
