Cinema Diaspora: Dounia and the Princess of Aleppo & Tribute to Sanaa Debsi

For the first time in Montreal, the animated film Dounia and the Princess of Aleppo, which has toured the world and won many international awards, will be presented in its arabic dubbed version!

With the very much missed the late and great Syrian actress Sanaa Debsi, in the role of Téta Mouné,.

A unique afternoon in the company of the endearing characters from the film - in arabic !- and the creator of Dounia, Marya Zarif.

This session will be dedicated to the memory of actress Sanaa Debsi, and a tribute to her immense contribution to Syrian culture. Dounia was one of her last works and the project made her deeply happy.

لأول مرة في مونتريال، يُعرض فيلم الرسوم المتحركة دنيا وأميرة حلب، الذي جاب العالم وحصل على العديد من الجوائز العالمية، بنسخته المدبلجة إلى اللغة العربية!

مع الممثلة السورية العظيمة الراحلة سناء دبسي، في دور تيتا مونة .

أمسية فريدة بصحبة الشخصيات المحبوبة من الفيلم - باللغة العربية! - ومبدعة دنيا ماريا ظريف.

وستكون هذه الجلسة مخصصة لذكرى الفنانة سناء الدبسي، وتكريماً لمساهمتها الكبيرة في الثقافة السورية.

كانت دنيا واحدة من آخر أعمالها وقد جعلها المشروع سعيدة للغاية.

Pour la première fois à Montréal, le film d'animation "Dounia et la Princesse d'Alep", qui a fait le tour du monde et remporté de nombreux prix internationaux, sera présenté dans sa version doublée en arabe !

Avec la regrettée et talentueuse actrice syrienne Sanaa Debsi, dans le rôle de Téta Mouné.

Un après-midi unique en compagnie des personnages attachants du film - en arabe ! - et de la créatrice de Dounia, Marya Zarif.

Cette séance sera dédiée à la mémoire de l'actrice Sanaa Debsi et à un hommage à sa contribution immense à la culture syrienne. Dounia a été l'un de ses derniers travaux et le projet lui a procuré une grande joie.
