After a mysterious death, Kaujak and Sapa are separated despite being promised to each other at birth. With the help of spirit guides, efforts are made to restore harmony in this Arctic fairy tale set in an Inuit community. Presented in Inuktitut with English subtitles.
This screening of Uiksaringitara (Wrong Husband) is free and open to the public, all guests must check-in at the front desk to receive an admission token.
This June, Cinema at the Museum presents a series of films in honour of both Indigenous History Month and Pride Month. These films examine themes of love, identity, family, fate, justice, tradition, and resilience from a wide range of Indigenous and 2SLGBTQ filmmakers.
