Concerto for Other Hands is an inspiring and deeply emotional story about music, resilience, and a father-son bond redefined. David dreams of becoming a pianist like his father, José Luis — but his father doubts it’s possible due to David’s physical differences: short arms, four fingers, and limited hearing.
Determined to follow his passion, David learns to play in his own way, ultimately convincing his father to believe in him. Their journey leads to the creation of a concerto composed by José Luis, written specifically for David. As the pandemic strikes, David must face his greatest challenge yet: premiering the piece for piano and orchestra in a world turned upside down.
