About this Event
CineFAM Film Festival Returns for Its 9th Year!
CineFAM Film Festival is back, celebrating limitless imagination and daring, original films by Canadian women and non-binary creators of colour! Join us from November 6-8, 2025, at The Hub, 837 Dundas St. W., Toronto, as we journey through this year’s theme: Threads of Identity.
CineFAM 2025 invites audiences to explore the stories that connect us to our past and shape who we are today. From ancestral lineage and heritage to the ever-shifting journey of self-discovery, our films examine how identity is uncovered, layer by layer, through love, loss, memory, and imagination. These films ask: Who are we if we don’t know who we are?
Celebrate connection, creativity, and courage with over 20 films that reveal the power of storytelling to illuminate our roots, our present, and the futures we dare to imagine.
