Bio:

Mr. Wheeler is a Professional Mining Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in operations and senior project engineering roles. Following early career experience in operations of both Open Pit and Underground mines Mark has taken part in the development process of several greenfield mine projects ranging from resource development, engineering studies and the start to finish completion of a Canadian Federal EA process including all technical aspects, scoping and execution of baseline work, and engagement with multiple Indigenous Nations. Mr. Wheeler holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Abstract:

The Berg Copper Project continues on the path towards production with aims of being one of Canada’s leading critical minerals producers. The recent PFS completion shows a top tier mine project with ability to produce over 122 thousand tonnes of copper and 21 million pounds of molybdenum in early years of mine life with total production reserves spanning 28 years. An update and overview will provide insight to the various focuses and opportunities the Berg Copper Project holds in its path to Final Investment Decision.
