On Friday, September 20 the CIM Orchestra launches its 2024-25 season at the John Hay High School Auditorium. Anthony Parnther leads this not to be missed concert featuring works by Schumann and William Grant Still. Parnther, one of today’s foremost conductors of film and tv scores including Avatar: The Way of Water, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Encanto, and The Mandalorian, closes the concert with John Williams’s beloved “Adventures on Earth” from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
