Family First Solar (FFS) CEO and co-founder is Kodjo Lee. Kodjo has a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and a M.S in Energy Systems Engineering from University of Michigan - Dearborn.

In 2015, Kodjo joined the local upstart Ryter Cooperative Industries as its lead design engineer. For the next 4.5 years he led and supported initiatives ranging from designing and building small-scale solar generators, recruiting and hands on training, developing and providing education curriculum and events, such as an international trip to Ghana in 2019 to educate high school student about solar energy.

In 2020, shortly after starting FFS, Kodjo received formal training from Solar Energy International (SEI). He has a certification as Associate PV Designer NABCEP certification and is working on his NABCEP Specialist certification in PV Design as well Kodjo also currently works for GM and is responsible for the charging performance of electric vehicles.

He works daily with industry experts on high voltage, AC, DC, and complex DC energy systems and grids
