Seattle’s Chinatown-International District Night Market returns for its 19th year on Saturday, September 26, from 1–9 PM.
Presented by Amazon and produced by the Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA), this free, all-ages street festival celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the CID neighborhood.
Stretching across three city blocks, the Night Market features 100+ local vendors, including food trucks, handmade crafts, and community organizations. As the sun sets, Hing Hay Park comes alive with live performances such as lion dances, taiko drumming, and martial arts demonstrations.
This year will feature a new ‘Food Walk’ activation happening in addition to the street festival, attendees can pick up a menu at the Information Booth and explore the local brick and mortar businesses with $6 and $8 specials.
The event also coincides with the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, a 3,000-year-old tradition celebrated across Asia as the symbolic end of the harvest season. Families gather to share meals, light lanterns, and enjoy mooncakes under the brightest full moon of the year.
