ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Join us at Chào, Tết TO, for an unforgettable celebration of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Youngplace (180 Shaw St, Toronto). From 11 AM to 11 PM, the entire first floor, second floor, and mezzanine will be transformed into a lively mini festival, where tradition meets creativity and the spirit of Tết comes alive.
Immerse yourself in a full day of vibrant music, cultural performances, and traditional festivities as we welcome the Year of the Horse. The celebration features live music, dancing, singing, and DJ sets. There will also be Vietnamese food and drink vendors, crafts, and community art.
WHAT'S NEW IN 2026
This year celebrates the Year of the Horse, symbolizing freedom, energy, strength, determination, and creativity. The festival invites everyone to welcome the new year with joy, vitality, and open hearts!
Among the highlights of the festival, attendees can look forward to:
Live music performances: Enjoy four dynamic music sets designed for a wide range of audiences, including families, children, and young adults, creating an inclusive atmosphere for music lovers of all ages.
Interactive and playful zone: A vibrant space where visitors of all ages can create, play, and make memories. From traditional games like ring toss to hands-on crafts and an immersive photobooth, this area is full of festive fun.
Indoor Tết marketplace: Explore beautifully designed clothing, traditional hand-made crafts, and artisan products from local vendors—perfect for discovering unique gifts and cultural treasures.
Culinary delights: Savour a diverse selection of authentic Vietnamese dishes, featuring mouthwatering flavours and special treats that honour the tastes of the season.
Central Hall: Experience captivating dance performances, groove to the beats with our DJ, and the exhilarating countdown to the New Year, all happening in the Central Hall.
