Chute, Shoot, SHOT and Halloween Party

Alright folks, you know what time of year it is! Prepare for the annual Chute, Shoot, and Shot competition and Halloween Party on Saturday, October 31st. We will be open for DZ ops for licensed jumpers at 1300 and prepare for the competition and party to commence at 1700!
For those who haven’t participated before, this is a timed course consisting of:
1. Canopy Accuracy landing
Chugging a can of beer (or non-alcoholic carbonated alternative)
2. Airsoft gun target accuracy
3. Taking a shot (or equally harsh n/a liquid)
4. Dizzy bat + cone slalom into the finish line
The timer starts as soon as you land your parachute, time is deducted for accuracy at each station, and the person with the lowest final time wins! One of you amateurs may actually have a chance to win this thing!
A few additional notes:
- If the weather cooperates, we will do hop n pops on the last load or two of the day (number of loads depends on how many people are signed up.)
- If the weather does not corporate (as is tradition) we will have an alternative to the canopy accuracy portion.
- We will need non-jumper volunteers out in the landing area to be timers + station helpers.
- Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged, it is Halloween after all!!
- Post below if you are able to volunteer on the ground during the competition.
