Churchmouse Books Summer Charity Book Sale

Churchmouse Books, the neighbourhood bookshop known for its dedication to community and charity support, is celebrating All Things Green at its giant Summer Charity Book Sale on June 13th from 10 am to 2 pm. The Green theme will be reflected in its curated offering of books. Hot dogs will be available for purchase hot off the grill.

Since its founding in 2015, Churchmouse Books has served as a hub for book lovers, a meeting place for community, and a steadfast supporter of local charities. Over the past decade, more than 100,000 dollars have been directed toward various charitable organizations and community-building programs, with last year’s contributions reaching an all-time high.

Churchmouse Books invites the community to join in the celebration and be part of its ongoing mission to foster a love for books while making a meaningful impact. Bring friends, kids, and even the family pet! Admission is free, and donations of more books are always welcome.

Proceeds from Churchmouse Books support local charities and community-building programs. Our community partners include The Food Bank at St. John The Divine, Threshold Housing Society, and OurPlace. The Churchmouse Bookshop—which is also open every Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM—receives used books in great condition from the Greater Victoria community and gives them out to new owners in return for cash donations. Churchmouse Books is proudly staffed by volunteers.
