We are excited to host our first two Chunky Knit Blanket Workshops at Atrevete Cafe in Aurora at the end of the month.
Join us for a cozy and creative experience where you will learn how to make your very own chunky knit blanket using a simple hand-knitting technique. No knitting experience is needed. We will guide you through each step, so anyone can participate.
Whether you come with a friend, family member, or simply want to take some time for yourself, this workshop is an opportunity to slow down, be creative, learn something new, and enjoy the moment.
A little about your host: I am a social worker and mental health advocate, and I believe it is important to make time for ourselves. Taking a break from our everyday responsibilities, learning something new, and doing something creative can be a meaningful way to support our mental well-being.
This workshop is open to everyone ages 12 and up. Come with a friend, family member, or on your own. Everyone is welcome.
Atrevete Cafe will also be open during the workshop, so you can enjoy a coffee, pastry, or something from the cafe while you create.
No experience needed. Just come ready to relax, create, and leave with something beautiful that you made yourself.
