Join us for a Chunky Blanket Hand-Knitting Workshop with Busy Fingers Creationz.
This hands-on workshop is designed for all skill levels—no prior knitting experience needed. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the simple and satisfying process of creating your very own chunky blanket using the wide rib stitch.
The wide rib stitch alternates broad sections of knit and purl stitches, creating strong vertical ribs that add depth, structure, and a clean, modern look. This stitch is beginner-friendly, easy to memorize, and especially well-suited for cozy, durable blankets.
You’ll work with soft, premium yarn that is machine washable and designed not to shrink or shed.
We’re offering three blanket sizes:
Mini (4 skeins | 24” x 24”) – perfect for an infant or toddler blanket
Throw (6 skeins | 30” x 50”) – ideal for a cozy throw
Standard (8 skeins | 45” x 60”) – a full-size blanket for ultimate comfort
Each kit includes everything you need to complete your project: premium yarn, scissors, tape measure, lighter, and written instructions. If you’d like to combine more than one color in your blanket, please call the store to make arrangements.

Refund Policy: Please email [email protected] if you have a scheduling conflict – tickets are non-refundable 48 hours before the event, but we will use your registration as a credit for future workshops. 24 hours prior to the event, no refunds or credits will be given.
We require a minimum of 4 participants to hold the workshop. If we don’t reach that amount 48 hours prior to the event, we will notify all attendees and refund you.
