Join this fun class learning hands on the skills to crochet this chunky blanket. Pre registration can be found on our web site and prepayment is required. We will open this class up to 10 guests and the cost is $45.00 per person. No previous experience is needed to take this class, just bring your patience and fun attitude as we work together to make blankets.
Tips: 30mm hook will work best its blue and plastic is better for this project than bamboo. Do not buy the hook that is 25mm it makes the blanket too tight which doesn’t allow you to breathe under it.
Yarn: we like the Bernat brand of chunky yarn. The extra that has 72 yards is fantastic and you would need 4 to complete this blanket. If you buy the eternal bliss yarn that only has 28 yards per skein so you would need 10-12 skeins (it’s often on sale at Hobby Lobby 30% off)
For your first blanket we recommend a solid color and a lighter color. Sometimes it’s difficult to see for folks so a lighter color until you get the hang of it is best.
