CHUFFED TO (RUG) TUFT with Maureen Winnicki Lyons at WOOL MOUNTAIN STUDIOS

Have you been mesmerized by videos of folks rug-tufting? Try your hand at this exciting and fast-paced textile art at WOOL MOUNTAIN STUDIOS. Maureen Winnicki Lyons will guide you through the design and creation of one small-to medium-sized rug for floor or wall.

All tools and materials provided and included in cost of registration. Light refreshments served.

CHUFFED TO (RUG) TUFT takes place SAT MARCH 1 from 10 am to 3 pm and SUN MARCH 2 from 10 am to 1 pm with PICKUP is evening of TUES MARCH 4 or by appointment.

Day One is design and creation, Day Two is sculpting and mounting with appropriate adhestive to a proper background. RUGS REQUIRE 24 TO 72 HOURS UNDISTURBED DRY TIME therefore Day Three is pickup.

Class size is kept small and limited to only three participants per session in order to guarantee quality assurance. (One of the three may be a team of two, please check with us prior to registration to confirm this spot remains available.)

Ample street parking is avaible on Arlington Street.
