Join us for a Community Block Pawty on Saturday, April 18th as part of Chesapeake Humane Society’s 4th Annual Shelter Slumber Pawty!From 4:00–8:00 PM, our shelter will be open for a Late Night Adoption Event and Shelter Open House. Come meet our adoptable animals, cheer on the 2026 Slumber Pawty participants, enjoy fun raffles and games, and connect with community vendors and supporters. Pajamas are encouraged - because what’s a slumber pawty without them?
Then at 8:30 PM, bring the family and join us outside for a FREE outdoor movie night under the stars! Just bring your own chair or blanket and a bag of unopened dog or cat food to donate, and we’ll treat you to a bag of popcorn.
Whether you’re hoping to adopt, support shelter pets, or just enjoy a fun evening with the community, we’d love to have you join us!
