***PLEASE RSVP TO THIS EVENT AS SPACE IS VERY LIMITED: E-mail [email protected]***Join a group of people who understand what it's like to live with chronic pain. This group is open to anyone living with chronic pain or illness, and your loved ones.
This group will be lead by a licensed and registered occupational therapist in order to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment and meaningful participation.
This group is FREE TO ATTEND.
What to Expect: We will begin with introductions and a quick ice breaker. Then we will together complete a nervous system calming activity. After that we will enter into guided discussion, including some prompts to ponder, or simple moderation of the conversation. Requests for topics or conversation starters are always welcome!
Feel free to bring a journal and a pen to record any thoughts, prompts to respond to later, resources shared, etc.
Our room reservation is from 10-11a. Please arrive a few minutes early to order from the cafe to support this free community space.
Also, please note that this group is limited to SEVEN(7) attendees due to room space limit.
