Christopher Hollyday, a dynamic, bop-informed alto saxophonist, who plays with a warm, bright tone and frenetic style in the tradition of artists like Charlie Parker, Jackie McLean and Phil Woods returns for a third year in the series!His April FFJS program is entitled “The Seasons” and will highlight popular Jazz standards - such as “Autumn in New York,” and “It Might as Well Be Spring” - to create a memorable journey through the cycle of seasons. Joining Hollyday are Rob Thorsen on double bass and Joshua White on piano.
