ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A former Colorado judge with nearly two decades of experience in the courtroom, Christopher C. Cross brings a unique legal perspective to his debut novel "Beat the Drum for Justice." A graduate of Denison University and the University of Denver College of Law, he's an avid history buff with a passion for civil rights and social justice.

ABOUT THE PERFORMER

Anna Maria High is well known for brassy, buxom, belty performances with attitude. She is trained in many styles of singing. Originally a classical singer, she found her niche while attending Metro State and participating in various musical theatre productions. She was last seen as Marya D in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. Best known for the one woman show Hi Hat Hattie, and her portrayal of Serena in Gershwin's Porgy and Bess at the Aurora Fox, She has performed in many solo concerts and cabarets around town, as well as many appearances as a soloist. Other credits: Fiddler on the Roof (Frumah Sarah) The Sound of Music (u/s Mother Abbess); The Buddy Holly Story (Apollo Performer); SpongeBob The Musical (Pearl); White Christmas (Martha); Avenue Q (Gary Coleman); Disenchanted (The Princess Who Kissed the Frog).
