KVRA Christmas Party!
December 7th, 2024 at 6:00 pm. at J. Render's Southern Table & Bar in the Speakeasy room.
There will be No Chapter Meeting in December instead we'll celebrate KVRA Christmas!

Each year we have a small gift exchange or as we like to call it “Dirty Santa”, “White Elephant”, “Chinese Christmas, etc. it has many different names.
How does it work? If you would like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift in the $20 - $30.00ish range to the party. When it’s time to exchange gifts, we will draw numbers to determine who gets to pick in what order. The first person opens a gift, the following people can either take a gift from a person who already opened one or pick a new one from under the imaginary Christmas Tree. If your gift is "stolen", you then may "steal" someone else's or pick a new on from under the tree. It can be lots of fun and many give and takes, hence “Dirty Santa”. I believe in the past once it was stolen 3 times the gift is then safe from being stolen again.
Please mark your calendars for the date above. If weather is bad, please check back here before you leave for the party. We will cancel it if we feel it will be dangerous for everyone to arrive safely.
WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE, SO WE'LL NEED TO COLLECT MONEY STARTING AT THE NOVEMBER MEETING. There are three pricing options $25, $35 and $45 a person. We'll set up a poll closer to the November meeting do make the final decision. We decided the $35 option would probably be best at the March meeting, but we have time to change that if we want to.
