Christmas Vine Wreath Workshop at Crook Hall Gardens, Durham
About this Event
Christmas Vine Wreath Workshop at Crook Hall Gardens, Durham
Saturday 31st October, 11-1pm
💥 Access to Crook Hall Gardens is not step free, if you have any mobility concerns, please get in touch.
Come along to beautiful Crook Hall Gardens and create your very own natural Christmas wreath using a beautiful vine base, moss and a lovely selection of fresh, seasonal foliage.
This is a slightly more pared-back style of wreath, perfect if you love a natural, understated look and enjoy working with beautiful seasonal materials.
We'll start by adding moss to your vine base before binding on a good variety of fresh, festive foliage. You can choose how much of the natural vine you'd like to leave exposed for a more relaxed, contemporary feel, or you can take your foliage all the way around for a fuller look.
The choice is yours, so you can create a wreath that's completely your own.
Then comes the fun part... decorating your wreath!
You'll have a lovely selection of natural decorations to use, including fresh berries, dried fruits, pinecones and other seasonal touches. And, of course, there will be a choice of ribbons to finish your wreath. With different colours and styles to choose from, you can find something that complements your finished design perfectly.
Once you've finished, you'll have a beautiful natural wreath to take home and enjoy throughout the Christmas season.
Whether you love a simple, pared-back wreath or something a little fuller, this workshop gives you the freedom to create something that suits your own style and your home.
I'd love to welcome you along for some Christmas creativity, seasonal foliage and a little festive time out.
Our workshops at The Northern Flower Garden are always fun and supportive where I demonstrate professional floristry techniques, share the tips and tricks and we’ll keep the creativity flowing with coffees, teas and homemade bakes from the National Trust team at Crook Hall Gardens.
