Join us for the Christmas Tree Fabric Sculpture class!

Get a head start on the holiday season with an afternoon of tactile, hands-on crafting! In this immersive workshop, you will learn how to turn soft textiles, textured yarns, beads, and natural wood into a charming, one-of-a-kind Christmas tree sculpture.

Whether you want to design a cozy centerpiece for your home or craft a meaningful, handmade gift for a loved one, this class offers a welcoming and relaxing space to experiment with fiber art techniques.

• Fabric Layering: Techniques for wrapping and shaping a three-dimensional conical tree form using varied textile weights and textures.
• Surface Embellishment: Adding rich detail through hand-stitching, couching specialty yarns, beading, and placing custom toppers.

• A curated collection of fabrics, wools, ribbons, and specialty yarns.
• Wooden slice bases, stems, star toppers, seed beads, buttons, and fill material.
• All necessary needles, threads, wire, tools, and personalized step-by-step instruction.

While a complete kit of materials is provided, you are welcome to bring personal accents to make your sculpture even more sentimental:

• Vintage buttons, heirloom beads, or small charms
• Favorite fabric scraps, lace, or ribbon from personal projects

Location: FAVO Art Village Studio 238

To reach the studio, turn north on Highland Avenue from Colonial Drive, and enter the parking lot (second driveway on the left). There is a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". When you enter the parking lot turn right and then left at the rear of the lot, continue through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. FAVO building is the L-shaped two story building. Class is upstairs at studio 238.
