The Catholic Art Institute invites you to A Christmas Tour FundraiserSunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00pm at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.During the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we invite you to enter more deeply into the Advent season by spending an afternoon surrounded by beautiful religious art. Join us for a special tour led by William Newton who will guide us through reflection and commentary on selected works of art.
We hope this event will delight your senses and draw you more deeply into the Advent season and the meaning of Christ’s birth this Christmas.

William Newton is the Art Critic for the Spectator World. Newton is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, The University of Notre Dame Law School, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. In addition to presenting before the Catholic Art Institute, he has also served as the moderator for the expert panel discussion at the Institute's conference and gala. He lives in Washington DC. This event is a fundraiser in support of the Catholic Art Institute and its ongoing efforts to restore a culture of beauty, truth and goodness, by empowering artists to use their gifts to glorify God and captivate souls through beauty.
Tickets are $23 and all proceeds will go to help the work of the Catholic Art Institute.
We will meet at the fountain in the West Building rotunda prior to the tour which will begin at 2:00 pm.
After the tour the group will retire to the museum cafe for refreshments and social time. (refreshments are not included).
