We are delighted to announce our annual Christmas Tour will take place on Saturday 27th December and will commence from North Pier Heritage tram stop (opposite the southbound modern tram platform) at 12:55, using a Heritage Tram. After a tour of the tramway, we will be dropped off at North Pier for a break of around 1 hr 20 minutes, before we join a locally-based Heritage bus, for a tour of the illuminations, departing from the bus stop adjacent to the modern tram platform at 17:00. Our tour will conclude at North Pier at approximately 18:00.
Please note that in the event of a Heritage Tram being unavailable, it will be substituted with a member of the modern Flexity fleet.
We welcome both members and non-members aboard, at £5.00 each. Although we will accept walk ups, on the day, we recommend booking on our tour, to guarantee a place! You can do this by emailing our Chairman and Treasurer Mark Green: [email protected]. The Heritage bus ride will be free of charge, but a bucket will be provided for those who wish to donate to the Fylde Transport Trust!
Please be aware that the tram and bus will not have disabled access, so wheelchair users will need to fold their chairs up and place them in the designated areas, aboard each vehicle.
