Enjoy the spirit of the holidays as Wakefield’s Col. James Hartshorne House at 41 Church Street, Wakefield, opens its doors to the public for this Wakefield tradition. The House will be beautifully decorated for the holidays by the Wakefield Garden Club and the Hartshorne House Directors. Enjoy light refreshments (including home-made Christmas cookies!) Enjoy caroling by the WHS Voices of Steel acappella group; shop for little Hartshorne House-themed gifts like our annual 12 Days of Christmas Calendar and notecards and greeting cards. There will also be the raffle of Hartshorne Director-donated gifts. A lovely Wakefield tradition, first established in 1936! Free of charge, of course!
