Christmas Star Origami Workshop

Fold your own origami star, using vintage sheet music, for the top of your Christmas tree this year. This is a drop in event (not 3h long!).
About this Event

Join Chernise Neo of Merry Origami for this festive, creative origami workshop as part of the Urban Makers Christmas Market. Embrace the Christmas spirit in a timeless, nostalgic way by using vintage sheet music to create your own eight-point origami star for the top of your Christmas tree.

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, and is a wonderfully soothing antidote to the end of year hustle and bustle. All materials and instructions will be provided. At the end, you'll be given a sturdy box to take your finished star away in, so that you can proudly display it again year after year.

Details:

• Each ticket secures one person's place to drop in at this workshop any time in the session, to make one large (35cm) Christmas star. Note that each star takes about an hour to create, so do leave enough time if you'd like to finish it in the session.
• There will be additional origami Christmas ornament kits available to purchase and make on the day (£11.95 each).
• Children aged 7+ can attend if they are accompanied by an adult throughout. The child and accompanying adult together will be able to make one star, unless they have each purchased their own tickets.
