Christmas Sing along with Six Town Sound

Fancy a bit of a Christmas sing-along?

Come and join Stoke-on-Trent's award winning, upper voices, a cappella group, to work on two classic Christmas songs; .

You and the existing choir members will be learning, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Oh Holy Night. The songs are in four parts in the Barbershop style and you will have access to recordings of all the parts for you to check which you feel suits your voice the best.

We will introduce the choir, our MD, Duncan and the rehearsal techniques we use to bring our songs together: it is the perfect opportunity for you to try us out.

We will bring the song together on the 2nd of December with the opportunity to brush things up on the 16th for a mini Christmas showcase alongside other songs from the current members of Six Town Sound and Longton URC Choir.

Places are limited, so register now to receive your learning material to learn at home and rehearse with us at the open evening.

To get the most from the workshops, please learn your part so you can sing it without having to read the sheet music. You are welcome to have the music with you during the rehearsal for making notes and checking your home learning.

2nd December 2025 | Time: 19:15 - 21:00. Six Town Sound members will continue until 22:00 which you are welcome to stay and watch.

16th December 2025 | Time arrival 19:15, Show 20:00 - 21:15 with festive refreshments afterwards.
