“The Birth of Jesus Play”: We will need, at a minimum, 12 children grades 3-12 to play the parts of Mary, Joseph, Angel Gabriel, Second Angel, Inn Keeper and wife, 2-3 Shepherds, and 3 Kings. Children K-2 are also welcome to participate as angels and will be invited to the front during the play. Please contact Kay Goedken at (563) 543-6683, if someone is willing to participate. There will be one practice Thursday, December 10, following the 5:30 pm Mass, beginning about 6:30 pm. All participants need to be present for the practice. While practice is going on, we will set up the crib and decorate for Christmas. Mary Puetz and Annette Connolly will check on the costumes for the play and Mary volunteered to clean and make any repairs needed.
Social following Christmas Prayer Service: We will have a donut social following the Prayer Service that will include a raffle the Parish Council is sponsoring, the winners of the Silent Auction Baskets, and a special visitor for the children 🎅
