This year's Salisbury Plains and Christmas Meal is on Saturday 30th November 2024.We will be staying at the Holiday Inn, Amesbury.
Solstice Park, Near Amesbury, Mid Summer Pl, Salisbury SP4 7SQ
A couple of us are booked in the Friday night also.
There are plenty of facilities very close to the hotel including supermarkets and fuel.
Itinery:
17:00 Fri 29/11/2024 - early arrivals, few drinks etc
10:00 Sat 30/11/2024 - meet in the hotel car park (bring a packed lunch and fuel)
17:00 Sat 30/11/2024 - return to hotel (no later than)
19:00 Sat 30/11/2024 - dinner (see below) and disco
10:00 Sun 01/12/2024 - meet in the hotel car park (bring a packed lunch and fuel)
16:00 Sun 01/12/2024 - disperse
You do not need to stay in the hotel or attend dinner to come laning.
You do not need to come laning to attend the dinner.

Ladies, Girlfriends, Wives and Children are all welcome and encouraged. The last event we held, Lakes 2024, the ladies outnumbered the men!
Details of the "dinner and disco":
The 30th November is an Early Disco Night here at The Holiday Inn, a disco through the decades! Take a trip through the decades as we dust off the glitter ball and get those dancing shoes on as you’ll be dancing through the decades to all your favorite hits from yesteryear to the present. We offer a set menu on this night, as follows:
STARTER:
CARROT AND GINGER SOUP, vegetable crisps (VE, GF)
MAIN:
SLOW BRAISED BLADE OF BEEF, Yorkshire Pudding, horseradish mashed potato and seasonal vegetables (GF upon request)
or
ROASTED VEGETARIAN WELLINGTON, potato and seasonal vegetables (V)
DESSERT:
CHOCOLATE AND ORANGE TART, orange and ginger compote (VE, GF)
The cost for this night is £36.00 per person, and we required a £10.00 per person deposit.
