2025 Christmas Parade Theme: “Christmas Through the Colonies”In honor of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, we’re embracing the spirit of the season—and the spirit of ’76—with a parade theme that brings history and holiday cheer together: Christmas Through the Colonies.
This year’s parade invites you to take a creative journey back to 1776—but with a merry twist. Picture Santa in a powdered wig, colonial carolers strolling down Main Street, and floats inspired by snowy New England villages, Southern town squares, coastal ports, and frontier cabins.
The early American colonies were home to a rich mix of cultures and communities—and this parade is a chance to celebrate that diversity with thoughtful, festive interpretations. From candlelit scenes and toy drummers to colonial feasts and tinsel-draped tricorn hats, we can’t wait to see how you bring this theme to life.
